Dendermonde, Belgium, and Farnham, UK, September 18, 2017 Luceda Photonics, a leading provider of photonic IC design software, today announces business expansion and signs an exclusive software distribution agreement for EDA Solutions Limited, a provider of Electronic Design Automation (EDA) software, support, and training in Europe.

As a first step towards growing Luceda’s global sales reach, EDA Solutions will be offering full sales responsibility for the range of products to photonic IC designers in Europe.

Luceda partnered with Tanner EDA technology from Mentor, a Siemens business, in the first days as a start-up. Tanner EDA is a compelling platform to integrate Luceda’s IPKISS design framework into because of its very broad industry adoption, acknowledged ease-of-use and cost sensitive pricing. The partnership combines photonic expertise with industry standard EDA design excellence.
