Tanner EDA Continues Worldwide Expansion: China and Hong Kong

Aerdai to provide sales and support for full-flow analog mixed-signal IC design tool suite and MEMS software

MONROVIA, California – December 20, 2013 – Tanner EDA, the catalyst for innovation for the design, layout and verification of analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits (ICs), has appointed Beijing Aerdai Information Technology Inc. (Aerdai) of Beijing, People's Republic of China, as sole distributor to provide sales and support for all Tanner EDA products in China and Hong Kong. The distribution agreement will help Tanner EDA meet the growing demand in the region for the company's full-flow analog and mixed-signal (A/MS) IC design suite, HiPer Silicon, as well as for MEMS software, and related specialty design tools and services.
Tanner EDA's HiPer Silicon offers designers a complete software suite for the design, layout and verification of analog, mixed-signal, RF and MEMS ICs. The tool suite, available on both Windows and Linux platforms, consists of fully-integrated front-end and back end-tools, from schematic capture, circuit simulation, and waveform probing to physical layout and foundry-compatible physical verification.

More MEMS designs are created with Tanner EDA tools than with any other EDA tools. As sensors and MEMS play an increasingly more important role in the Internet of Things (IoT), Tanner EDA users have a distinct advantage for integrating these components with their complementary analog and digital design elements.
"We are proud to embark on this relationship with Tanner EDA, the leader in full-flow analog and mixed-signal solutions and a pioneer in the MEMS market," said Mike Bai, president and CEO of Aerdai. "The markets in China and Hong Kong are growing quickly, and we look forward to helping Tanner EDA expand in the region."
"China and Hong Kong are important markets for our users, especially in the area of mobile phones and consumer electronics," said John Zuk, vice president of marketing and business strategy at Tanner EDA. "Aerdai has a strong sales network and an excellent reputation for providing customers with in-depth technical support and services through their offices in Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong. We are excited to have them help us bring designers the interoperability and advanced capabilities for which Tanner EDA is famous."

Aerdai joins Beyond Electronics (Israel), ICON Design Automation (India), and Synchlogix (Australia and New Zealand) as new distributors for Tanner EDA in 2013. See http://www.tannereda.com/press-room/press-releases for additional detail.
